Why I use ChatGPT, Claude, and Instinct

My current setup:

My current setup: ongoing assistants and task tools, with work and personal contexts kept separate.

Keeping up with work

I send my work dot tasks throughout the week. It follows Slack conversations, flags important messages I haven’t answered, and helps me keep track of what I promised. Basically, making sure I’m not slacking on Slack.

At the end of the week, I ask for a summary and use it to plan the next one. Very easy when the tasks are already there.

Claude is particularly useful for videos. When I want to explain a vision or an idea, showing it often works better than writing another long document.

Codex gets me into the code and customer data. As a PM, I can investigate an issue, understand how something works, or add the tracking I’m missing.

Still trying things

I’m not locked into one provider. Each has a use case, and there’s overlap.

Instinct is free for my current usage, which makes the daily checks useful to keep running. I’m less comfortable with its privacy, so I keep it personal-only and limit what I share.

I’d also like to try Muse, but it isn’t available where I live yet.
